Founded by Gilberto Iannozzi on a side street of Via Veneto, our name is a tribute to the timeless elegance of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. Since then, our rooms have welcomed the protagonists of the international jet set: Alain Delon toasted at the counter, Mick Jagger looked for a table in the corner, Andy Warhol observed the scene, and Marcello Mastroianni lived it. Princess Margaret, Liza Minelli, Vittorio Gassman: these are just some of the stars that made the Jackie O’ an open-air set of the real Rome, good.
Today, under the guidance of Beatrice and Veronica Iannozzi, we have renewed the furnishings but preserved the spirit. Walking down our stairs, among the photos that line the walls, means taking a trip down memory lane. Many historic venues have closed. We are still here, writing the history of Roman nightlife, night after night. We are not a museum, we are a living experience.
